  1. Just wanted to drop a line and let you know how impressed I was with your 2010 HIMSS Tradeshow campaign! Great way to involve social media, and it looks like it all worked in your favor as shown by your stats on MarketingSherpa. Thanks for sharing it with the world and hope to see more from you! By the way, how did you incorporate video into this campaign? You mentioned the use of a Flip camera.

  2. Linda,

Thanks for the kind words! We incorporated video in two ways:

    1) By using a video that was recorded by Better Health on the show floor (http://blog.initiate.com/index.php/2010/03/10/better-health-interview-with-lorraine-fernandes-at-himss10/). We tweeted this extensively and then embedded it into a blog post.

    2) We had Flip cameras on site and took a couple short clips of the show floor, available on our YouTube Channel (http://www.youtube.com/initiatesystems - click "See All" and you'll see 3 from HIMSS). This was our trial run at video - since then, we're educating our colleagues on best practices for Flip video at tradeshows. I'd be happy to send you this tip sheet, "Top Tips to Flip."

    Hope this helps.

    Crysta
